Herschey's Kisses Were First Introduced In 1907 And Can You Imagine They Were Wrapped By Hand And The Automated Wrapping Machinery Wasnt Introduced Until 1921. For Decades The Original Silver Foil Wrapping Was The Only Color Available. In 1962 Hershey Because The First Company To Introduce Seasonal Color Foil Wrappers Like Green And Red To Coincide With The Christmas Season. In 1968 pastel colors like green, pink and blue wrappers were introdude for Easter. In 1986 Valentine's Day Wrappers Of Red And Silver Were Introduced As Well As Little Red Hearts On The Silver Wrappers And With Other Seasons And Holidays The Wrappers Only Got More Colorful.
We Have Been Making This Hershey's Kisses Cookies Recipe For Years And I Thought I Would Share The Recipe With You All (actually it's public knowledge lol).....I Hope You Enjoy This Recipe As Much As We Have And Still Do :)

3..Bake 8-10 minutes or until cookie edges are set (do not overbake). Remove from oven; cool 2 minutes. Press candy piece into center of each cookie. Transfer from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 36 cookies.
1..2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2..1 teaspoon baking soda
3..½ teaspoon baking powder
4..1 cup butter, softened
5..1 ½ cups white sugar
6..1 egg
7..1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1..Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
2..In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3..Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
1..1 stick plus 2 tbsp. salted butter, softened
2..1/3 c. granulated sugar
3,,1 c. all-purpose flour
Directions
1..Preheat oven to 325°. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then stir in flour.
2..Form the cookies into 1" balls, placing them about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. If using sprinkles, flatten cookies into a disc shape and top with sprinkles.
3..Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are lightly golden.
