Turn A Blanket Into A Cape :)

The original instructions are in Spanish so I 'google translated' them, the grammar and stuff may be off but you will get the gist of it.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I am especially happy, since this bridge I spent in Paris visiting my sister. This is the third time I go there, but the previous 2 went in spring, if you have the opportunity, go in December, it's beautiful, thats it, it's very cold so a cloak blanket like this will suit you!
Let's go to the mess, this is version 2.0 of the mantle layer I made 1 week ago (You can see it by clicking HERE) but this is even simpler,
There is almost no sewing!
Can I get cold?
"I'm hot and people laugh" is not with you
As in the other blanket layer I made, we start from a rectangle
In my case the measurements are the width of the fabric (which was 140cm) by 120cm.
Cut in half as seen in the image above, half the length.
Then sew 4 cm from the edge with a small zigzag stitch all around the contour except for the sides, since in my case, the fabric was already finished, but if you do it with less fall on the sides, you will have to sew Also so that it does not fray.
To go straight, the ideal is to thread, as seen in the photo.
This step can be done by hand perfectly, it is not necessary to sew all the contour, with sew the beginning, the end and to give a few stitches by means, arrives to spare.
It is very important to give a good seam just in the part of the neck, since it is the one that more friction is going to suffer.
And finally what takes longer, fraying. Ideally, do not fray up to where the seam is, but leave a margin of 1 cm.
And by the way, we already have our cape blanket!
This blanket layer I made for my sister, who lives in Paris.
When she saw the first one, she said she needed one like that for her, so I made her one! How could it be otherwise, had to appear here wearing his gift :)!
