Like I stated in the intro sometimes those things can cost between $3 and $5 at the corner store and they are no more prettier or better than the ones you get at the Dollar Store. That's why you should always have a few extra at home in your stockpile just in case.
2. Party Supplies
Have you ever went online and look at the prices for party supplies. Cups and plates and streamers and tablecloths it can cost you ten to twenty times more what it will cost you if you just get them at the Dollar Store.
3. Gift Bags, Boxes And Wrapping Paper
Another costly item if you don't have a stockpile. Even at Walmart or any department store they're still three to four times more expensive than the Dollar Store.
4. Plastic Buckets
Have you ever seen the price of a bucket at your local grocery or department store it's outrageous and I love to have five or six on hand. You need one to wash the car, one to wash the floor, one to keep your paper towel, Windex and sponge in and one to pile little odds and ends in in the garage and there's so many other uses.
5. Storage Containers
They are so much cheaper than the brand-name ones like Glad and Tupperware. There's a huge selection at the Dollar Store. And if your child loses it or someone else doesn't return it, it doesn't hurt as much as it would if it was a $20 Tupperware bowl with a burp lid.
6. Holiday Stuff
Let's be honest you can't beat the price at the Dollar Store for holiday stuff like Christmas bulbs Halloween decor Easter bunnies Valentine's day hearts etc etc.
7. Hair Accessories
Have you ever bought hair elastics at the grocery store? Holy moly they are so expensive and if you misplace or lose a hairbrush you can just replace it and it's not a big deal because it's only a dollar not like the $5.99 ones you get at the grocery store.
8. Tote Bag
Tote bags are never at your fingertips when you need them, and they seem to disappear like socks. Buy a bunch of polyester totes at a dollar store and use them instead of plastic at the grocery store, to transport gym clothes, to deliver items to family and friends, and to pack for the kids’ overnights or trips to the beach.
9. Picture Frames
When you buy an 8 by 10 picture frame from the Dollar Store you pay a dollar but when you buy the same size at a department store you're looking at $5.99 up to $10 plus Dollar Store picture frames you can do so many other crafts with them just Google and you should see what pops up.
10. Vases And Decorative Bows
If you Google crafts with vases and decorative bowls you should see what pops up. Just think how much money you'll save if you use Dollar Store vases for your wedding, you could probably save between $2 to $3 per vase for table and that adds up. If one of your children or yourself drops a vase or decorative bowl it doesn't matter because it only costs a dollar and you can replace it the same day.
